OKLAHOMA CITY – Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC (DRG) has partnered with Akima subsidiary, RiverTech to provide Air Force flying squadron support services. The contract was awarded to RiverTech by the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to support Mobility Air Forces (MAF).
The $70.2 million contract awarded to RiverTech covers operations for 14 bases over a 5-year period. DRG is a subcontractor to RiverTech and will support C-130 squadrons. DRG will provide non-flying capabilities and support efforts to increase aircrew production and efficiency.
“We are excited to be a part of the RiverTech Team,” said Brian Busey, President and COO of DRG. “We look forward to expanding our operations to continue supporting the warfighter and the C-130 community.”
The contract was awarded to RiverTech under the OASIS Small Business (SB) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The team will absorb select non-flying duties in order to reduce the workload of MAF flying personnel working at flying squadrons at each base where support is provided.
