The Hawaii-based DRG F-22 Simulator Team was recently awarded the Hawaiian Raptor Team of the Year Award, on a vote from leadership and the squadron F-22 pilots. Over the past few months, the goal was to provide realistic threat-based training, in which our team went above and beyond the requirements. Additionally, Team Sim Hawaii accomplished numerous mission and instrument emergency procedure check rides to help with squadron standardization and evaluation programs. Team Sim Hawaii provided excellent support for multiple distinguished visitors to include the governor of Hawaii, several state senators, and multiple two and three-star general officers from the USAF.
